Devious red velvet cheesecake brownies


Assalamualaikum wrt. If you are one of my instagram(@dalilakmal) followers, u should know that i baked red velvet cheesecake brownies the other day, for sale.  crispy top, soft moisten texture, the little hint of  cocoa n the buttermilk with the runny cheese cream, who would resist? Devious i must say. It definitely will leave you with a hunt back, just like i do. Bake it almost like a  weekend must have desserts and so i thought i should share with the lovelies. Hahah. Luckily i have a sweet-toothed husband that he will somehow finish all of them at the end of the day. :p

Jot down ladies. Recipe is easy peasy. Tips, altho, in my beliefs, the best ingredients yield the best cakes. Hence i use quite pricey n high quality ingredients. And i do not bake or cook in anger. It will ruin everything. So smile and selawat when youre cooking/baking. It gives goodness to the eaters too.... So



For  40 brownies  (bite size) 

250g butter. Softened
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 tsp salt
4 eggs
1 1/4 cups flour
6 tbs cocoa powder
2 tsp vinegar
2 tsp vanilla essence
3 tsp (or so) red coloring.

400g cream cheese
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla essence
7 tbs powdered sugar

1) cream together butter, sugar and egg
2) add in cocoa, food color, vanilla, vinegar, salt and lastly flour
3) reserve 1/4 of batter in another bowl
4) the remaining batter, into the 12'x8' tray, lined with greased patch paper
5) mix ingredients for cheesecake altogether, and pour on top the red batter in the tray
6) with a spatula, spoon in the batter from the bowl, into the tray, making red patches
7) use your creativity to swirl and make red-cream color artwork. Hehehhe
8) bake until  cook. Its when u poke a stick into the cake, the stick will be clean when u take out.

Another version without the cheese part. Still, divine 

P/s: not advisable to reduce sugar because sugar plays role to make crispy top. Brownies is all about cripsy top nonetheless :)
